Apexa Patel is a corporate lawyer with over 17 years of experience representing clients in state and federal courts, and in mediation and arbitration. She represents businesses and individuals and strives to navigate them through their legal issues.
Apexa represents businesses and individuals in an array of issues including: incorporations, joint ventures, separation of partnerships, employment matters (discrimination, harassment, retaliation), employment agreements, contractual matters, non-competes, and immigration.
Besides her legal practice, Apexa also has a mediation practice. She is a registered mediator and has the approved civil mediation training.
She worked at Ice Miller in Indianapolis, IN where she focused her practice on international corporate matters. Subsequently, she joined Beckman Lawson in Ft. Wayne where she practiced business law, health law, and immigration.
Focus on the community is important to her. As such, she has served as officer or director of many local organizations, such as: Wellspring Services, Southwest Montessori Academy, Canterbury School, Midwest Bullying Prevention Project, and Sangam.
Apexa is admitted into practice at the Indiana Supreme Court, Northern District of Indiana, and Southern District of Indiana. She is also a registered mediator with the Indiana Commission, listed on the Mediator Registry. She is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
